Love the pictures, she looks really good! It does take some time for the fur to grow back, I think you will start to notice that happen a lot more once sutures are out. A ramp sounds like a great idea for her! Once that cone is off and sutures are out, I think you will see more of her "purrrsonality" come back. Huck was so relieved to have his sutures out! I am sure they are itchy and pokey right now, 2 more days!

And what a GREAT update! She looks so good. Yeah, fur can take a while but she'll just be glad that cone is gone she won't even notice.

Your home sounds like fun with so many paw running all around. I'm sure they are motivating Moira to get well soon so she can go remind em who's boss.

Keep up the great work Suzanne, you are giving her a textbook, five star recovery! smiley_clap

Moira was up and at the screen door this morning Meowing for her breakfast.  I think she's getting bored being in the library all day. She doesn't really want to snuggle with me on the couch though. She ended up hopping back to the library instead. I'm going to have to figure out some good spots around the house to put blankets, or something for her to sleep without having to struggle to get up onto soft sleeping spots. I'm also going to have to deal with her being mad about not getting breakfast in bed all the time.

Wow I really do pamper my girls! Cats! Worshiped as gods in Egypt, and they'll never let you forget it.

I got this on Amazon for Huck. I have a desk that is out of his reach and it is perfect. It is soft, sturdy, doesn't want to tip over.

Aeromark International Armarkat Pet Steps Stairs Ramp for Cats and Dogs is what to look for. If you use this Amazon Link

Tripawds will get a small commission.

That might be the perfect thing to help her up on to the bed, couch. They have several sizes, mine is 17w X 25H X 25D with the steps 9in. deep. It took about 10 minutes to assemble. The only thing I did not like was there is a pretty metal emblem that goes on one step and I was afraid that would hurt Huck's foot so I took it off, lol.

I also got some nice soft washable throw rugs that he loves to lay on as well as use for traction

Image Enlarger

Vivaglory 3D Design Cat Litter Mat, Soft Microfiber Litter Box Mat, Waterproof and Ultra Absorbent Shag Rug, Best Scatter Control, Machine Washable

I have washed these rugs over and over. I either hang to dry, or put on lowest warmth setting on dryer and they still look like the day I got them. They advertise them as litter rugs, but they are so much nicer than that.

I hope some of this helps. I is good that she is getting antsy, means she is starting to feel better. One more day and she will be free of the sutures!!

Sending you all hugs sp_hearticon2sp_hearticon2sp_hearticon2

Your girl is getting her sparkle back with each day! That boredom is a good sign, her strength is right around the corner I'm sure.

Great suggestions Jackie, thanks for the reminders about supporting Tripawds with any and all Amazon purchases made, it's greatly appreciated.

And I love the testimonial from you, Jet. We need to include this in the Tripawds Gear blog . Fun video!

Yay Jet!  I agree totally,  best stairs for sure.  I am going to get another one to replace the one at the foot of my bed.  Even my quads use them!

Oh wow those stairs look great. I'll have to measure my bed and see how tall of a set I'll need to get.  Looks like it might be just the thing for her.  I know she's really wanting up on the bed again.

I left the screen door open after giving her dinner tonight. A little while later I hear "Hop, Step, step ... Hop, step, step. She came down the hall and out into the living room. So I picked her up and we snuggled a bit on the couch.  Then she wanted down and to go exploring a bit more. She's getting faster, but is still flopping and resting as she goes along. I think she's definitely getting the hang of it and will have no problems after a while, especially after she builds up some strength in that front leg. I don't know if she'll ever run on it, but then again SHE'S 20!!

Awwwww how sweet!!! Not only is she 20 but even for younger cats like Huck,  they have to adjust to using different muscle groups for balance and mobility.  She is totally rocking this!!❤

The stitches are out and she's no longer has to wear the satellite dish. She's SO glad to have that thing gone. Thank you guys for the recommendation for pet stairs. I've got them on order, and was happy to use the amazon link.

I'm so excited about getting them!  She's been improving so fast that I just can't wait for the hubby to get home and be able to build us something.  And for what they are, they're really not that expensive!!!

Of course this means she'll be back to stealing my side of the bed soon, and grouching at me when I have to move her to sleep.

I'm sure her sisters will be running all over them in no time. But they also have the tall cat tree that they race up to get on top of the canopy.

I'll be sure to post pictures once they're in place.

Stubborn, determined old cat!!

She was done with being in her hospital room and roamed around the house, tried to get up on the kitchen chairs where she'd often nap, but couldn't get comfortable. I think she wore herself out at bit with all the exploring and I hear her hop back down the hall.

I was expecting her to go back into the library and lay down. Nope! She made her way into the bedroom and got up onto the bed. I'd put the foot stool and scratching ramp at the foot of the bed in case she wanted to try, but I didn't think she would actually make her way up there.

Then Rhythm was giving me looks like " MOM!! She's on MY bed! What am I supposed to do now?"

I don't know Rhythm, how about SHARE the bed? You know, like you do all the time?

Rhythm did finally jump up, and Moe had moved to her favorite spot, right under mom's pillow. But Rhythm was definitely giving Moe some serious side eye.

Now Moe has settled down and things are finally alright in her world.  I fully expect her to fall asleep there for hours.

Hope you all enjoy the pictures!  I'm so happy to have found this site, and have people who can support and share this crazy 3-legged, hopping journey with us.

Awww she’s gotta be soooo glad those stitches are out. And now with her new stairs she will be getting the royal treatment! Thanks for your support too!

Can’t wait to find out how she likes them. It’s so neat following her story, she’s a true inspawration.
