Whoo hoo on the tikki cat mousse that's better than the dry food. Brilliant to hear. I hope Mignon likes it too.
I figured they were, but you never know. They can be polar opposites in looks and be litter mates. Awe, us too. We got our boys at six weeks old. True gifts from above.
Jolie is doing brilliantly 👏🏻🙌🏻 keep it up Jolie !

Hey...I'm all FOR pooh celebrations! He had another one yesterday evening and greeted me with purring this morning. He really hates the powder I have to feed him for his kidneys. So much so that he vomited when I fed him it this morning so unfortunately he vomited all his morning feeding up.
I am taking him in this afternoon for his first followup. This is the one week anniversary of his surgery.
HAPPY ONE WEEK AMPUVERSARY JOLIE!!
A full recovery is getting closer and closer now. Other than a hiccup here and there, Julie has done really really well
Hopefully the Vet will have suggestions on preventing the vomiting with the powder. Maybe it's a matter of giving it a certain number of hours before the food, or certain number of hours after the food, etc etc. The vet may also consider another option instead of the powder. Let us know what the Vet comes up with.

I'm so sorry Jolie has Anemia, and the closet hospital is an hour away, 🫂
I am sure you haven't had much time to check that link on Kidneys I sent. It has an overwhelming amount of information, and it's one to bookmark. It's gold when you need to know more and very detailed.
Here is the part on Anemia - http://www.feli.....naemia.htm. It is relatively common in CKD -and there are many reasons for it. I'm glad you had your recheck yesterday, and they caught it rather quickly. Hopefully, the vet explained all this to you.
Did you discuss the powder? Are you referring to a phosphorus binder?
I see you are on now. Does that mean you and Jolie are home and recovering?
