When we bring a dog, cat, or other animal into our life, we know that someday the inevitable goodbye will need to happen. And when it does, it’s hard to imagine what life will look like in the days afterward. Sixteen years ago today, we could never imagine what our world would be like without Jerry’s sunny personality brightening our days. Our hearts were shattered to pieces.
