We adopted a blue Great Dane named Harley 2/13/2011 at 2 years old. He was malnourished and scared, only 90lbs. Three days later, On 2/16, he escaped our house while we were at work… was hit by a car but 7 days later with a lot of help from the community, I found him 9 miles away…
Now almost 2 years later, he is 140lbs and awesome with the help of a Percorten shot every 25 days and healthy except for the bone cancer that came Sept 2012 in his front left wrist. Amputated on 12/04/12 and gets around great! Now on his 4th round of 5 chemo treatments he is doing great! He is amazing and still has 6 lives left in him and I will do everything in my power to make that happen because I cannot imagine life without him.
