Sadie had this XL life vest that she wore around the pool (it's actually never been wet!)  It's too big for ranger, as you can see in the picture.  Sadie was about 80lbs, but I think it would fit a dog up to 100lbs.  Ranger is about 67lbs, and is very compact. I already got him a smaller one. It's called "Paws Aboard" and they sell it on Amazon.com if you want to look up size info.  Just PM me if you're interested.

Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end.  On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us. http://ranger.t.....pawds.com/

That's so sweet, thanks for being an Angel!

It's better to hop on three legs than to limp on four.™

Still looking for a taker!  I know how I am when I read the forums, and sometimes I only have time to look at the "new stuff". So, I'm "bumping" this up a bit in case someone in need has not seen the post.

Just wanted to let you know that Dakota's mom contacted me, and once the snow melts, and the ice thaws, Dakota will be water-ready in Sadie's life vest!  Dakota's such a cutie (looks a lot like my monkeydawg Athena, but bigger.) Can't wait 'till spring to see how it works out!

Spring? We're going to have spring? Ha ha ha ha ha! Oh, what an ugly rumor. cry

But I will still photograph him in it and we can pretend the weather is nice. (Do you have a picture around here of Athena?)

Well, you can see some of Athena in the pucture of Ranger modeling the life vest (she has her nose in Rangers butt!) But (no pun intended) here's a better look:

Is that because Athena doesn't look like a monkeydog, or because Athena doesn't look like Dakota?
