some friends of ours are fosters at Small Breed Rescue of East Tennessee (http://www.sbret.com)  there is a little papillon puppy there, rescued from a puppy mill who is now a tripawd.  when he was rescued, the leg was damaged, and they couldn't save it.  here's hoppy's link:

if you know of anyone who'd like to have this little angel under their tree, and in their hearts, please pass on his info.  thanks!!!

Hoppy is simply adorable. What a beautiful gift he would make. Thanks for the post Charon. Hopefully Hoppy can find a family before Christmas.

OH MY GOSH!  What a baby doll!

You know who would love he?  Dan.   This little guy would make a great farm dog!   smiley

Hey, this is my little foster puppy!  Thanks for putting him up.

I haven't been on in a while since I have been so busy with rescue and work.   Little Hoppy and my Mack are some what buddies just hopping along together.  Mack tries to act tough but I think he likes the little guy.

If anyone is interested in him please let me know, he is a good little puppy and as you all know being a tripawd does not slow him down ONE BIT!

He is a cutey, but I'm afraid the cats would have a hayday with him!!!!! And if he got hit with a tail I'd probably have to go to the neighbors to find him!!!! laughing

My buddy Gus had a left front amputation on April 7, 2010 and lived a great life until July 26,2010

I tell ya, he is a little spitfire!  I have a friend who is a dog trainer and adopted one from me, she has her own dog show at a comedy show, has been on animal planet along with several other tv shows.   She is awesome, all of her dogs sleep with her but they also "work" and LOVE it.  Anyway she has shown some interest in little Hoppy so I am keeping my fingers crossed that he could become one of her "comedy canines"

It would be great if a tripawd could be one of her stars and it would educate people on how great a dog can do on 3 legs too!

Well little Hoppy is being fostered now by the lady I was talking about.  He is doing well in her care but she had wondered how much she should let him do.   Anyway, I told her about this group and hopefully she will check it out.  Her name is Dawn.

Well, Dawn decided to go ahead and adopt little Hoppy YAY!!   I know she will do great things with him:-)

She has actually posted on tripawds facebook, so everyone will have to take a look at him there.  I am just so happy she is keeping him, she is the best home ever.

That's great! "A (Tripawd) Star is Born!"

Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end.  On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us. http://ranger.t.....pawds.com/
