MyNewts new home is a hit!  She found us thru tripawds website (indirectly) and is doing very well.  She went on her 3 legged journey (literally) from MI to Kansas.  From the emails and photos she looks happy and her new human says she is eating great and putting on a few ounces!  She has a few other fur-friends and is fitting in well.  Thanks all for your prayers and well wishes, I think they worked.

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. It's sad when someone has to give up a pup, I wish they were all as diligent as you in finding a good home for Newt!  It is obvious how much you care about her.

It would be great if her new parents came here and gave us an update too.

I thought she would have since she found me indirectly thru this website.  But, all is good, she has updated me several times and she seems to be fitting in very well!
