We just learned about this beautiful Tripawd in Illinois:

Come visit our shelter. Comet is in kennel #89. He is 2 years old.

Comet is quite a spectacular dog. He is typical of most Sammies and will make a good companion and pet. We rarely get a Samoyed at the shelter so we don't expect Comet will be here very long–come in quickly if you want to adopt him.

Samoyeds can be excellent companions, especially for small children or even other dogs, and they remain playful into old age. The breed is characterized by an alert and happy expression which has earned the nickname Smiley dog." Because Samoyeds were used to herd reindeer, they will instinctively act as herd dogs, and when playing with children.
