Noticing a definite lag now. I thought i had it fixed opening up Firefox recently, but on phone and pc, lag time is more noticeable since lastest update. Sometimes 30 sec plus, and i have ad blocker off in this site.
Anybody else or is it just me?

We have been working hard all day under the hood, causing the noticeable latency today.
And there have been no "latest updates" recently, just a lot of work behind the scenes, which will likely continue until we get to the bottom various cans of worms opened by addressing the performance issue. It's a major Catch 22. Thanks for the patience.

My rule of thumb lately:
If the site is running slow check to see if Admin guy is logged on. If he is logged on then he is probably wrenching in the bowels of the site causing some slowing.
If Admin guy isn't logged on and the site is slow then post.

The hot forum topics and the recent news, recent blogs are no longer on the front page. Is that part of the new changes for the fugoogle speed? I looked to see if anyone else asked. I didn't see it anywhere unless I missed it.
I can see the recent blogs and Unread And Recently Updated Topics while in the forums.
I wondered if this is temporary as you are working your arse off on all this or this is how it will remain?
I do notice a big difference in speed loading the front page now.
I know your running your marathon today this is not urgent - just general question when you have time.

In continuing efforts to appease the Google, we are now serving up a cached Tripawds Home Page, so all dynamic resources have been removed - including recent blog posts and forum topics. Random image scripts have also been removed.

These changes will remain for the foreseeable future.
I do notice a big difference in speed loading the front page now.
Difference for the better we hope...efforts continue, with a theme overhaul coming soon which should help further improve site performance. Thanks for the feedback!

Yes for the better! The home page loads faster than I ever recall. I hit Tripawds, and I'm here no waiting for the page to load. We look furward to seeing the new theme.
