My tablet was run over and SHATTERED .....(don't ask)
It makes all the right "noises" when I cut it on. As hard as it is to believe, it makes the right nooses if I TRY to cut it off. Of coirse, it won't cut off because the screen is too SHATTERED to show me the cut off "button"

Do you think all my stuff...pictures, etc can still somehow be saved IF IF IF the screen can be replaced?
I know this is waaay out of your scope of "technical support furever", (sadly for you, hasn't stopped me before), but if you have any reassurance to offer, please do so!

Your data (all your stuff) is probably okay. Let's hope so. Unfortunately, however, you will need to get the device serviced to find out. iFixit.com has various tutorials for doing such things, but tablet screen replacement can get complicated and require special tools.

If you have a computer and USB cable for the tavlet, you should also be able to access the data. We are not familiar with the process for Android devices, but found some promising tips...

There is a cord that you can get to transfer the information from tavlet to computer, do you have a desktop or laptop? I have a bunch of Android stuff... I might be able to help you at least protect your stuff til you can see if the screen can be replaced!

Sometimes it is not worth trying to fix, it can be as expensive to do that as it is to replace. What kind of tavlet is it?

Just one quick question. I kinda get from your links that a USB cable (not sure of tabvlet has a slot for thst, but BFFBob will know) can transfer my stuff to a REAL COMPUTER.
Obviously I don't have one, but I DO have this "baby" samsung tavlet (kindly gifted to me from some of my Va Tripwd PAWTY friends😙). IF IF stuff is transferavle with that Usb thing, do you think my gifted tablet can take it...or store it?

What you showed from your screen looks like the data is retrievable. You may need somebody with a computer to do this for you. The information can be saved and then loaded on to the new tavlet. I wish VA and KY were not so far apart 
If your friend from Verizon will be in tomorrow he should be able to make the transfer. My tavlet is also a Samsung and so is my phone. It is not too hard to do, that is the good news 🙂 It did not get wet did it? Just tuck it someplace safe so no further damage can come to it, ok?

Okay, just gonna put this on back burner til tomorrow . Main thing I needed was reassurance stuff was still safe....and it looks like it is!!
And I REALLY REALLY REALLY appreciate the GUTSY willingness to chat me through the steps.....but I know myself was way too well and won't understand a word.
PLUS in FAIRNESS TO Me, me screen looks NOTHING like anybody else's. Th9s screen even looks way different from my mother samsung.
So thank you again. I haven't seen BFF Bobby since last year. He misses me I'm sure!!!

Youcharge it somehow, so yes it has a slot. Though if that port was damaged by whatever destruction hath wrecked havoc on the device, that could be a problem.

Looks like there is an app for that, but you would need to be able to use the screen, and have a special cable.
You may be able to import the data from a PC used to get it off the broken tavlet, but direct tavlet to tablet transfer is doubtful. though Android experts would know for sure.

Put it on hood as I was trying to wrangle Blin Myrtle in the car to try and cheer her up with Starvucks. It didn't go well.
Went to film her getting her Starvucks...no tablet in car.
Cannot believe it, but after sea4ching for hoirs, found it a mile from the hoise....at a stop sign....crushed with tire marks.
That Samsung stayed on my hood a mile🤣 I did something I thought was right smart (to counter the STUPIDITY of leaving it on the hood! I put something approximately the same weight and put it on the hood and drove off. The "crash dummy" stayed on the hood and didn't fall off until about 100' or so from where I found it

I have them all saved to an external drive. I have it sitting right here in the little box. So just know I have all you original quality photos on a flash drive for you! I know we talked about it before but we never talked about sending it somewhere.
