Oh, Sally. I'm sorry, I can't help laughing. It's your description of the dummy tavlet and how you used it to locate the real one. I can just picture the scene exactly. I'm sorry. I realise it's the last thing you need at this particular point in time, but somehow these things always do happen at the least opportune moment, don't they... If it's just the screen that's shattered, then certainly screens can be replaced/repaired. I managed to smash my phone screen TWICE in the last six months or so. Aaaaaaaaaargh! The second time was a total shatter and both times it was replaced no problem, and the phone worked perfectly. (You may also remember how I reversed my car into the postbox the day before coming to the states, while trying to post a letter to Dr A, and completely shattered the rear windscreen....)

And should it be whisked away in a hurricane en route to Sally and wind up in The Land of Oz (we have to cover every possible eventuality), then I also have all the photos in full resolution stored in my dropbox, from when you uploaded them there. (Sally, this also means that, should your baby tavlet not have a USB port, you would still be able to load the photos onto it, by downloading them from dropbox using wifi)

Sounds like great news ! They can retrieve and transfer all to the baby tavlet? Or are they replacing the screen on the tavlet?
