You have been on my mind a lot today Bev. Roane has too. I know your girl is looking over you right now. And I know she will be in your heart forever. You and your family have found a place in our hearts, and in our hearts you will stay forever.
Roane had me from the first picture. She has the eyes of an Angel. When you look at that sweet mug I swear she just lets you see all the way in to her heart 
1 year seems like yesterday and forever at the same time, doesn't it?

I do agree the video is beautiful. But it is because of Bev's photos. The photos are natural, and you can see and feel the love! A true connection, and enormous bond between man and dog...
We are thinking about you Birthday Sister, and of course Roane. I know she is looking down smiling on you. I swear every time I see a frog I think of Roane...

Sending you all the biggest hugs ❤❤❤🐾 i cant tell you how much your love and support means to me. I was dreading today because i so wanted to share roanes life but wasnt sure i could do it without buckets of tears, grief and guilt. Having you to share it with made this day much easier.❤ and allowed me to remember roane with love.
I believe your right and shes still here keeping an eye on me, because mom never goes unaccompanied. us silly humans have a hardtime with not being able to see and touch and smell. Sometimes she pops into my head and i just know my autumn angel is here.

My sweet soulmate Roane was diagnosed with osteo in June of 2019. Had a rear leg amp on July 2nd & crossed the rainbow bridge to be with her sister Gypsy on the first day of Autumn Sept 23 2019.

Hi Birthday Sister,
So, I was watering my oak tree. I have pvc pipe around the trunk so when I water the roots they get good and wet. I put the waterhose inside one of the pipes, and wouln't you know out jumped two little frogs. Well, I immediately thought of Roane. Then it dawned on me. Today is Roane's two year angelversary. I know there will be tears, but smiles and laughter as well. Would love to hear some more stories of the wonderful life you shared with your big beautiful girl.
Roane will always let everyone know, I am big, I am beautiful, I am happy, and I get along just fine on three!

Oh my heart the frogs! I always say Roane is thinking of me when I see one❤️ Roane really knew how to enjoy a good frog hunt!
I can’t believe it’s been 2 years already.... even though my heart hurts some days I get the sense that her and gypsy are still here with me all the time. I think last night was one of those times. My father and I had the most random conversation about how Roane use to steal potatoes off the counter! It was one of the only items she would counter surf for. She always gave her self away because as soon as she grabbed one she would run like h@ll 🥴 sounded like a parade of elephants running up the stairs!
I fell asleep last night picturing her and gypsy laying next to me...
Thank you all for the love and for helping me remember my autumn angel ❤️ 🐾

Yes, Roane is furever our Autumn Angel and we think of her so often. She still inspires others who don't know if "big" dogs can do well on three. She rocked it!!
Thanks Jackie for posting a remembrance of Roane and Bev. Quite frankly I did know if she was still "on the site" in a way where she would get a post alert on her thread.

PS.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO NANCY AND BEV!!! I know Brownie and Roane and Gypsy are celebrating like crazy and were avle to eat cake and ice cream with cho syrup and it was okay to do at The Bridge!😎🧁🍰
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
