I can't believe it has been just over a year since we got to meet Max in Mill Valley... those eyes!
John took this picture on January 9th- one of my favorites. I only got to meet Max once, but I will always remember him.

I wanted to remember our pal Caira Sue who left us a year ago today.
I've lost touch with Mary and Adam, but I don't think they would mind me posting this.

We miss Caira Sue also. We met her at the January 2010 North Cal Tripawd Party. She and Max got along great, and she was a very loving girl.

Awe, Thank you Karen for remembering. Caira Sue is awesome. It is bittersweet to remember the pups that have passed. I so love seeing their beautiful faces, but oh, how it reminds me how much they are missed.

A year ago yesterday, we lost our old, loyal sweet boy Ponch. He was 15 and full of life til his very last days, his body gave out on his spirit. His personality and spunk for life is what lead me to my passion for pitbulls, bully breeds in general and dog rescue, which in turn has lead me to our sweet tripawd Dante and his goofy sister Mina. He really was a one of a kind dog and truly mans best friend. Run free my sweet old boy! We miss you just as much now as we did the day we let you go.
