I totally forgot I wanted to say this yesterday...about the song in the video of Jerry... That song was written and performed by a Tripawd Mom, Kelly! We met her many years ago after her dog Frankie lost a leg to a non-cancerous tumor. She and her husband Perry have a GREAT blues band in Los Angeles called Kelly's Lot. If you like bluesy rock and roll you should check them out.
Anyhow, here is Frankie's story, which inspired the song in the video.

Jerry's love of water apparently started at an early age. Well, maybe he wasn't too thrilled with his first exposure as evidenced by the look on his face in this ohoto!

Yes, the community Jerry started has grown jn so many ways on so many levels! He has given eeveryone hear a chance to have eextended quality time for more loving and spoiling!!

Blessings on Jerry's Spirit that shines forever, on all those who walk (hop) his path, on all those who hold their special angels and spirits always in their hearts and have the generosity of spirit to reach out to touch others, and especially on Renee and Jim, whose heartbreak was turned into a community and sanctuary of celebration and healing.
I haven't been often active online this year, but carry all here in my own heart always.

Murphy had his right front leg amputated due to histiocytic sarcoma at 7 years old. He survived 4 years, 2 months & 1 week, only to be taken by hemangiosarcoma at 11 1/2 years 6/12/17

Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.

I've been thinking about you and Zeus lately Deb. I knew your anniversary was coming up because it was a year for us loosing Max on Jan 18th and I knew Zeus was getting close too. Hoping you have healed some in this year. It always will hurt but I find I can now focus on the good years we had and let go a little of the pain of the ending. Wishing peace for you friend.
