Sorry lol. She FINALLY ate all her food! she hadn't eaten a bite in almost 5 days and the vet said she ate the whole bowl! There is cracks of light at the end of this tunnel, I know its not going to be a breeze but I sure hope we get there!
Thank you all for your support and kind words, it means more than you know!
Haha! I had hoped that's what you would say!
You'll get through this, it'll be fine and life will be normal again, I got a feeling!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Well, vet called. She is still eating, they are flushing her non stop today and tomorrow...We can pick her up at 10 a.m sat. Vet said there is no way knowing if they got all the gangrene, just have to keep our fingers crossed that they could kill it in the chest cavity. So after we bring her home saturday it will be a waiting game. If not, then our options have run out and we will have to put her down....but hoping for the best!
Paws, fingers and tails crossed over here! I'm glad she gets to come home. Please keep us posted. Good luck this weekend!

I couldn't be more happy with our vet. We get at least one call a day sometimes more just for updates. Already heard from him this morning, they are taking her iv's out because she is eating and drinking so good. Willingly going potty! Looking good. Still he can't tell if the got it all but we are still on track for her arrival home tomorrow! They said that may help her more than anything thing, they said she has what they call "hospital depression" and is kinda gloomy because of it. Can't wait to have our girl home!
Good vets are worth their weight in gold!
Be sure to recommend your vet it our "Veterinary Referrals" discussion forum topic.
Yaaaay! Can't wait till she's home with you. What a great weekend this will be.

Can't wait to hear how she does back at home. I'm sure it will be a huge boost to her spirits, and that can only help with her recovery!
Looking foward to a great next update,

Well I'm not sure how to put a picture on here, but our girl is home! as soon as she heard our voices her whole body language changed! It is so good to have her home! She still has the drainage tube in her so they can drain her one more time, it's pretty gross. I will take her in tomorrow to have that removed and then in 2 weeks she gets her stitches removed. The vet said we are not out of the clear yet, but this is the most optimistic they have been! Hoping for a full recovery. She has lost a ton of weight, she is just skin and bones, but they are not too concerned with that. I feel if we can make it through this, everything following will be a breeze! And I cannot thank my vet enough! They have truly in more ways than one saved her life! Thank all of you for all your support this has surely been a journey, its not over yet, but we are getting there!

Well I'm not sure how to put a picture on here...
Here are instructions for adding pictures to forum posts. If you don't already share photos somewhere online, the easiest way may be to start a blog so you can upload them to your media library.
Thanks for the update and best wishes for a complete speedy recovery!
