Does anyone have a great vet for tripawd injuries in San Diego? My girl has been tripping with her remaining front leg and this is not normal for her. Thank you!

Hi there! Sorry to hear she’s having issues. Front-wrist (carpal) injuries are common and with the right kind of exercise and PT usually resolve themselves. Has she seen a rehab therapist yet? If not I’d say it would be a good place to go after an orthopedic vet reviews her symptoms.

Your’e in a great area for care, here are a few that look good to us:

For canine rehab, you want a center that practices multiple modalities (not just one, like water therapy), and also has a veterinarian on-staff. Here are two that look good to us:

As for ortho vets, we say look for a clinic that’s accredited with the American Animal Hospital Association. Here’s why. And here’s how you can search for an AAHA clinic near you.

Hope this helps! Keep us posted in another forum, like Hopping Around. We’re here to help!

It's better to hop on three legs than to limp on four.™

the 2 top centers are in Sorrento Valley…  858 875-7500  ( they have the vaccine trial) and CVS Carlsbad  760 431 2273.  I dont know names of orthos… just the oncos and rads..  good luck.. I live in Vista and have used both
