I've required the services of veterinary compounding pharmacies for many of Griffin's prescriptions and had very good experiences with two in particular, so I thought I'd share their information. One is in California and the other in NYC, but both ship (and the NYC one delivers locally).

I have found that prescription prices can vary wildly from one pharmacy to another, so I always do a bit of comparison shopping before sending in a prescription. For example, Griffin's most recent prescription for Chlorambucil (45 capsules) was $120 from BestPetRx and $575 from Golden Gate, but Golden Gate has better pricing for Griffin's Piroxicam prescription. I'm including the emails you can use to request pricing information which might not be available on the website.

Griffin lived an amazing life for 11 years! Diagnosed with osteosarcoma on March 17, 2020, Griffin's right forelimb was amputated on April 2, 2020. Ten days later he was running and playing fetch! Lung metastasis discovered in July 2020 did not slow down Griffin and he lived joyfully for the next 7 months, passing peacefully at home on February 11, 2021. https://griffin .tripawds.com

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Thank you so much for sharing, this is great information. We used a compounding pharmacy (Wedgewood) for Jerry's cancer medications and it saved us a ton.

There is some concern out there about the quality of systems in place to create the compounded drugs, so you just have to be careful and use ones with good reputations. Here's a great Tripawds Nutrition blog post written by Jackson's mom:

We use Wedgewood Pharmacy for Purrkins brother Saxton's meds. We have been with them for 3-4 years now. They have been excellent, prices, free shipping - we are set up on auto-refill program!
