Bridge Animal Referral Center (BARC) Edmonds, WA. We are in Oregon and drove up for an appointment just for the Yale vaccine. But I was very impressed with them and wished I had been able to do Nicholas's oncology work through them. The Center was large and clean with easy parking and access for 3 legged Nicholas. Very friendly, organized reception and you can email questions to a real person. (I am getting tired of chats) Even though he had just received a shot they did a thorough evaluation and sent me good records. I'm trying to keep Nicholas out of as many waiting rooms with anxious dogs as possible and they had green benches on a breezeway outside, so the doctor came out there to talk with us.
Nicholas loved the vet techs, well he usually does, but he gave a good lean to this one and then started to go back inside with her through a new door he saw, so she had to laugh. That's his review!
Clinic policies for the Yale vaccine may differ in different parts of the country, but at this one the billed cost is $197 and they ask for a donation beyond that. The donation is managed through a non-profit and I am very happy to donate, and so grateful for the appointment. I do think anyone interested in a Yale vaccine appointment should call immediately. It's easy to find their website and contact them.
Our dog was very tired the day after the vaccine, although we had spent 8 hours round trip and had taken a long walk in the beautiful Edmonds Dog Park that borders the sound so that was part of it. He was a little wet and sandy for the BARC appointment but they were ok with it! (large Newfie, 3.5 weeks post op)
Sounds like wonderfully well run establishment
And clearly Nicholas has given his approval with his loving "lean" to the Vet .Tech. Sweet visual.
Thanks for sharing your experience👍
