Hello,

I purchased a VetMedWear Suit - For Amputees (XL / Female Dog/ Left Rear leg missing).  My dog is a rottweiler with broad shoulders and the suit does not fit her.  Because I opened the package and tried it on her, I cannot return it.

Do you know of anyone who might want it/ how I can locate someone who could use it?  I can wash it if you like (since I tried it on her) and can ship it.  The suit itself is very clean as it was never worn, and her wound is clean and the only thing that got on the suit was her fur.  I hate for it to go to waste.

Thanks!

Hi Breila,

I'm so sorry it didn't fit. Did you contact the company to see if any modifications can be made? It's so nice of you to offer to pass it along anyways, thank you. This is the best place to reach out to the community. I'll also put something in our social media channels to let folks know since this is such a specific item. There's definitely another female left rear leg amputee out there somewhere.

We just sent you an email suggesting a post here, you were reading our minds! Thanks again.

Thanks Jerry!  I don't think it worth having the suit altered.  My tripawd had her surgery 6 days ago, and by the time I get the suit back hopefully she will no longer need her cone of shame or a suit.
