Caring for a Three Legged Dog or Cat
Tripawds is your home to learn how to care for a three legged dog or cat, with answers about dog leg amputation, and cat amputation recovery from many years of member experiences.
It may be vintage but is still in grrrreat working order. These things are built to last! The reflective material that highlights the harness is a little worse for wear but that's it. Washed and 98% de-haired.
This harness is chock full of fabulous tripawd juju just waiting to rub off on YOUR tripawd! Worn by 4/5 of the Oaktown Pack! It was a hand-me-down from tripawd spokesdog Wyatt Ray Dawg (he's so cool he gets a new harness every year!). Then it was well used around our house--Smokey, Codie Rae, and Austin all wore it at one time or another.
PM me if you are interested!

Hi there first off I'm so sorry for your loss! rnMy puppy just turned a year and had to have her left front arm amputated 5 days ago, she was attacked by a pit bull off the leash when she was 7months old and it kept getting infected, she's already doing so much better! If you still have your vintage harness we would put it to good use! (I tried to upload a picture of miley but I'm not sure how to do that)

Hi Brianna, thanks for posting. Sorry to hear about your puppy! I'm glad she's OK and doing better. Please start a new topic here so we can help you and your pup on your journey.
Regarding this harness: I know that Martha is on vacation now and won't be back until later in October so she can't send until then if she still has it (I think so)
I would post a "WANTED: Medium Harness" here in our Angel Exchange to see if you can get one sooner. Also, I recommend the Ruffwear Flagline instead for a front leg amputee.
Hope to see your new topic!
As Jerry mentioned, the Flagline harness works better for front leggers. That said, if you are still interested the harness is still available. Let me know!
I am going to leave this up until mid-December and I would really like it to go to a tripawd but if there is no further interest by then I will donate elsewhere.

Yes! Yes! The chock full o' juju harness is still available! Have you measured Olive's girth to see if it will fit? If she is the kind of pittie that is built like a tank it may not. Here is how to measure and the sizing:
Let me know if a medium will fit Olive and I will send it out to you. Oh, and we would love to see a photo of Olive! The photo has to be online somewhere. If you click on the Insert/edit image button at the top of your post you can enter the photo's URL and it should show up here. Also, if you register for an account with tripawds you can PM me your address.
