I am so sorry for your loss. Please take care of yourself. TrikieLuv wants you to. I am thinking of you and will light a candle this evening to help TrikieLuv across the rainbow bridge. She waits for you there.

Our Remy is 65 pounds. We have not gotten a harness for him yet. I don't know if TrikieLuv's would fit him, but we would be honored to have him wear it so we can get him out for walks (if you still have it).

Thanks,

Lynn

It is the Girth measurement now weight that determines fit for the Web Master harness . Find a measurement chart and sizing here. Wrap a cloth measuring tape or string around the widest part of the rib cage, behind the front legs to see if the Medium will fit Remy and report back here.

Okay. I'm a newbie. I will measure him in the morning. Remy has turned in for the night. The meds knock him out.

I have a sewing tape measurer and will measure him and let you know.

Thanks for explaining.

Good Morning from Sunny but Chilly Pennsylvania.

I measured Remy at his widest girth, his chest and he measure 32-33" and his waist is 26".

Do you know what size he will need?

He is doing well and we would love to get him out walking soon. Of course we will purchase a harness if this one does not work out but it is so nice of this family to want to do this for another Tripawd family and it warms my heart.

Thanks,

Lynn

The Medium should work. The cut-off size between Medium and Large Web Master harness is 32" and Ruffwear recommends getting the smaller size if right on the line for an active fit. You should, however, also be able to slip two fingers under the straps once fitted.

Thank you. I think Medium will work for him. So do I circle back to TrickiLuv's parents and personal email them?

I will then make a donation to the Tripawd Fund.

Thanks for your help.

Thank you Lynn, that is sweet. What you do now is Private Message to TrikiLuv via the Forums (the envelope icon on the right of the post).

Keep in mind that Ruffwear Webmaster harnesses fit according to a dog's Girth Size (widest part of the rib cage), so be sure to measure your dog first. A Medium is for dogs with a 27" - 32" girth.
