We have 2 DogLegg vests for left front leg amputees (still having right front leg) This vest was donated by another angel by the name of Dakota and we are now paying it forward again for our beloved Cody. This was a LIFESAVER for Cody's right elbow as he was practicing to be a tripawd. Also was wonderful to protect his scar after it was in it's healing stages. It's easy to use. Just slips on the right leg and pads that entire elbow area and then wraps around the chest and attaches with velcro. Plus it's cool looking and you know they want to look cool when they are tripawding around the neighborhood!
These are usually custom made but have a lot of give. Dakota was a Shilo Shepard (not sure of his weight) and Cody was a Chocolate Lab weighing approx. 78-85 pounds. The important measurements are as follows: (this garment has stretch so these are Codys measurements and there is room either way for it to fit especially because of the velcro enclosures around chest and around ankle. Dakota was bigger than Cody and the vest still fit fine.)
Approx: Chest: 33 inches
Neck: 19 inches
Elbow: 9 inches
4″ below elbow: 6 3/4″
I also had just re-ordered a new bottle of K9 Immunity on December 14th. There are 165 capsules/500 mg. and 25 K9 Transfer Factor Tablets/3000 mg. Cody sailed through all his Chemo treatments with zero side effects and maintained his energy throughout….
I left a story about Cody on the memorial section of the forum today. I truely felt that K9 Immunity was a big part of Cody's quality of life as we fought the cancer fight together. These supplements had also gotten the nod of our vet at UW-Madison Oncology but we would encourage you to check out the K9 Immunity website and consult your vet.

Thank you for your generous offer to pay it forward Cathy.
For anyone interested, here's the link to Dakota's original post with more details about the DogLeggs vest. And here's our post about Jerry's K9 immunity clinical trial.

Thanks for asking Stacey, good to hear from you. The idea behind this Angel Exchange Forum is for members to donate items and supplements they no longer need. The two of you can use the forum's Private Messaging system to discuss coverage of shipping costs and exchange addresses, etc.
If you feel the need to pay something, I know a great website where you can donate to the cause!
We hope Eisen is doing well. Take care.

Hi Stacey, I sent you a message from the PM link here. I think I did it right. I hope you received it. Otherwise maybe Jerry can forward my e-mail to you like he did for me with Dakota's DogLegg Vest. I am offering these items as a pay it forward in Cody's honor to help a fellow tri-pawd family. If we can connect we can talk about shipping etc. Thanks, Cathy & Cody Angel
You'd be surprised how well you pup will do! Just check out our giant breed photo gallery and video of Tazzie the 175

Hello,
the last few days my tripawd, truman, has been falling down often... needs to wear his harness most of the time now...
I've been looking for more things to help him out and found dogleggs ... and would love to have one!
Please, if you still have them, let me know. Truman would appreciate it!
maggie
maggie, you can send a private message (the send PM button on the entry line of the post) to cody to ask if the dogleggs are still available. as it's been several years, they have probably been claimed. you can go the the Tripawd Angel Exchange forum, and start a new topic asking for anyone who might have some of these to donate. good luck with truman, we'd love to know more about your pup - and pictures are always welcome!!
