Aww y'all are pawesome!
Yes, I meant the walk in Wheaton. Unfortunately we can't make it to the walk there, or in Madison, since we'll be working at a dude ranch all summer. But, I see two possibilities for a midwest gathering:
1. The Tripawds Nation will have an exhibit at the Wheaton Puppy Up walk, which is currently being staffed only by Cadence and her Mom Heather. They've done it the last couple of years for us and I'm sure they would LOVE the help if others wanted to be in the booth as well.
2. And, we wouldn't be opposed to having an exhibit at the Madison walk too. I hear that walk is HUGE. Since we have the booth display with us right now (all but the Tribute Leash, which we can send), Jim and I can just ship it off if someone in Madison or around there wants to take charge and look into getting a booth space set up for us for the Madison event.
Any takers?

I am more than willing to help at the Wheaton booth if I am not traveling. Neither Otis nor Tess can actually walk 2 miles, so hanging out at a booth is a great place for us. (Now, getting sad - I hope Otis is still with me in September). Any way to make a donation for 2 bandanas without going through PayPal? I am having so many problems with them and basically giving up.
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.
Oh yay! I'm sure Heather and Cadence will be thrilled. You can email her here to let her know, and I'll let you two work out the details.
As for bandannas, sure! Just PM or email me for details.

If we do get a group to come for a meet & greet and Paula & I are able to come we would also certainly love to help in the booth too. The Madison one is kind of out for me because my Ollie is going downhill and with that one less than a month out I'm not sure where I'm going to be with him. Of course just when I think ok it's almost time he once again becomes the energizer bunny. But I know every day is a gift at this point.

Exactly Linda, you just never know. Well everyone, keep in touch and see what happens. It would be great if you could all meet up, we've never had a midwest gathering before.

Team Tripawds has already raised $1275 for the PuppyUp Foundation walk on September 17 in Wheaton, Illinois. I would love to meet more Tripawd and Angel Moms and Dads there!

HOLY TOLEDO! YAY AND WOOHOO! Wow that is awesome.
I'm not sure if you and Heather Neal have connected with one another yet so I'll introduce you over email. We will be sending our exhibit, Tribute Leash, bandannas and brochures to the event.

Thank you! We have created a Facebook Event on the Tripawds Page, and will continue to promote the walk periodically.
We have also created a custom short link for the event: tri.pet/TriPuppyUpIL2016

Crossed the $1500 mark today, with two outstanding pledges that should get us to $2000!

Yay! That is sooo cool.
Hey how about starting a new topic in "Community Announcements" That way we can all keep track of how the fundraising is going. We can do a Tripawds News blog post about it soon as well.

I've got a question for the Puppy Up in Illinois....I've made my donation to Team Tripawd, but can donations be given on the day of the walk? One of my co-workers wants to make a donation when he heard I was going to be there. I'm so exited to be meeting members!
Paula and Nitro
Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"
"Be good, mama loves you".....run free my beautiful Warrior
Yes, I think you can bring checks to the walk. Also, if you set up a personal page, you can print a pledge form and mail the check in.
