This morning I was reading about a US tripawds party and was feeling pretty jealous. I thought "why isn't there a tripawds Australia group?!" Turns out someone was way ahead of me and made a Facebook group (Tripawds Australia) but there isn't many people in it.
Not sure how many Aussies use this forum but feel free to join up and maybe one day we'll be able to have our own tripawd party!
Hope all of you are well and your tripawds are well!Â
What fun! Â Now all I have to do is think of a business reason why I have to fly to Australia!
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016.  Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016.  Lung mets August 25, 2016.  Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016.  Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma. Â
Wherever they are, they are together.
Yay, it's so cool you want to meet others! But don't be jealous, do it! Organize a party that is. All it takes is one person to do something and we'll help you however we can. This post tells how to get started:

Oh Katie, that would be great!!
The very first one we had in Virginia was a small gathering of some humans and their dogs! We just met for the afternoon at a Park that had a fenced dog park and a picnic shelter. It was nice because we all got to make great one in one connections with each other that will last furever!
As far as the pawty in the States, don't worry! We'll post soooo many pictures and videos you'll feel like you're there with us! And you and Meg will DEFINITELY be with us in energy! 🙂
Sending best wishes to you!! 🙂
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
There's actually another international group on Facebook tripaws - three legged dogs and I seem to remember there's quite a few Aussies on there. So maybe go there to recruit, bring 'em all here and set up a party! 🙂
Cheers 🙂

We actually have 70 members now in Tripawds Australia. I started it just over 12 months ago and we are a lovely group! We've all shared our experiences and supported each other in the best way we can with our beloved puppies.
