Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
Shari, next time you road trip to Iowa, take a long detour back to Colorado and head to IL and visit us! We would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have you at our house too!

Chili Dawg crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 8/30/2011 & is now pain free. He was my heart dog, and I miss him every day.

Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013. Meghan I am in Council Bluffs. We want to do a get together sometime with everyone. So ALL of us in the midwest can get together sometime. It was a great time. We went the zoo, went to dinner and even a movie and just enjoyed each other. Talked about Sassy, Dakota & our families.
Shari even got to go on a ride with us last night with Bosch around our state park. She got to hear him bark at the deer LOL.
Planning on taking some pictures of the necklace she gave me tonight so I will post those

I am from the exact opposite side of the state...the Quad Cities.
You know, I have been on a running forum for 13 years or so, and some of us have been doing FEs regularly for years. Sometimes small with a couple people, sometimes we get up to 40+ people to meet somewhere in the country. They are always a blast!

I think it would be a great time. We could all meet up, like rent a huge cabin then spend time together. I mean we would have to know who all would be interested in doing something like that an a central location. I think it would be a wonderful time

Thanks for sharing the pic and the idea! The Oaktown Pack would be up for a meetup anywhere but we do happen to have a trip planned to Kauai ... April 8-15, 2014 to be exact. I did scads of research on VRBO to find the perfect place for us to stay. I remember there were several places that had multiple units on one property that could be rented together--one of those might be perfect for a Tripawds get together. Alternatively, there are plenty of resorts on Kauai as well, if ya'll trend more that way. Now is the time to be booking, at least for VRBO rentals.
Let me know what ya'll think and who might be serious about Hawaii.

Sally, you'll be shocked to hear that I'm certified, too (HAH it's official) but we haven't gone diving in years...found out I get claustrophobic in a full wetsuit so that left just a few warm-water trips. Most trips these days are to the vet!
