okay, I don't get it…why is part of my post black and part red….NOW I have ghosts in the den with me?????
There's a glitch when quoting others....that break line that you see while you're typing, underneath someone's quote, is the issue. It will be fixed in the next upgrade but until then if it bothers you, just delete that black line then start typing and the formatting will be identical throughout. Hope that makes sense.

There is a dog park (close to my house by the way) which is only about a mile from Vasco Road, where the Tripawd pack turns off 580 to Disco Bay. Or with the rig do you go to Byron highway?
Karen, what's the name of the dog park?

Details, details...
It is called Marlin A. Pound Dog Park.
It is a pretty big open park, with the dog park toward the back. There is a big dog side and a small dog side, there is a doggie water fountain between the two. There is no seating inside the dog park- the tables and benches were removed last year because of vandalism. Lots of on street parking, there is no parking lot. Should be plenty of room for those coming with a house in tow.
There are a few picnic tables in the park itself, and a playground.
No restrooms, but my house is less than a half mile away.
I am open to visitors at my house too, by the way. I can add to the list of Tripawds who have 'christend' my back yard!
Tripawd pack- I can send you what I think the best entry and exit routes are for you. No turn-arounds necessary!! Send me a PM or email.
What time works for everyone? What time will the Tripawd wagon hit town?

What? The pawty's at the Pound? Huh?!
Karen, that would be great if you could send us good directions for the trailer! Jim and I were just wondering about the parking situation, etc. Thanks so much!
How's 11 AM?

Not realizing that you had already decided on which of the five Livermore Area Recreation and Park District dog parks, Chloe and I decided to scout each and every one this morning. We all knew that Karen would want the one near her house, but as it turns out this is clearly the most appropriate for the desired purpose. Vista Meadows is the only other park near the freeway, but there is almost no parking at this facility. Excellent views since it sits on a hill top, but no parking. The chosen park was the only one with a separate small dog run, and while others had more grass, most of the run did have a good deal of grass once one makes it past the entrance. The dog run is in the south west corner of the park which is designated as the North Livermore Neighborhood Park, but has clear markings of Marlin A. Pound on the west side of Bluebell between Buckskin and Shetland. Parking is along the west side of Bluebell as well. Also, I have directions below and you should not have any trouble pulling a trailer via these directions.
Directions from Eastbound I580:
Exit right onto ramp at First Street-Springtown Blvd
Turn left onto Springtown Blvd (also marked First Street) and continue for 1.4 miles
Continue at bend onto Galloway St and continue for 0.1 miles
Turn right onto Bluebell Dr and continue for 0.1 miles
Marlin A. Pound Park will be on your right.
When departing:
Continue on Bluebell for 0.3 miles
Turn left onto Scenic Drive and continue for 0.9 miles
At North Vasco Rd you can turn right to return to I580 or left to proceed to Brentwood/Discovery Bay.
Oh excellent! Thank you so much for the detailed directions and scoping the places out, we can't wait till Sunday!

Thanks for posting directions Bob, I logged on tonight to do just that. And your directions are indeed the best way to go for those towing their house (obviously the voice of experience!).
Last I checked it was supposed to rain tomorrow (Saturday) but be dry on Sunday.
Jim and Rene- as a back up plan I will offer my house if it is raining. I think enough street parking for the trailer (and a way to Vasco without any turnarounds). I know there could be issues (mmmmm, pug snacks…) but I don't want to miss seeing you guys.
See you all Sunday around 11:00.

Sounds great! See y'all Sunday. And no worries about Wyatt... well, as long as you don't mind loud scary dogs. The more training opportunities the better.
