Yeah, they know better and don't run the ferries after October anyhow.  And at least one of the ferries was way too expensive for us and it didn't sound like Gerry would be ok with their rules for pet travel (kennel, or stay in the car alone).

We might have snow coming in earlier than expected doh!  It'd be our first snowfall, so on the one hand it'll probably be hardly anything and mostly rain, but on the other hand, if it is at all significant, folks always drive stuipidest during the first snowfall.  That may get in our way, but it's not over yet.  We'll see what the weather forecast is like closer to Saturday before making a final decision. 

Wow, somehow I missed Amandaboo's post about the address all this time!  Yay!!!  I'll check out just how long it will take to drive there and back.  Thanks!
