Nova has a FidoFleece.  I believe the Tripawds store carries them, I remember seeing Wyatt modeling one a some point.  They also carry a nice line of FidoFleece at Pet Supplies Plus stores, which I believe are only in Michigan.

Does the Tripawds store carry fleeces and/or snowsuits? wink

Ah but of course! Check these out:

More Winter Warmth for Amputee Dogs

and yep, we carry Fido Fleece! Stay tuned, more winter styles are coming up.

No Fur? No problem, with Fido Fleece Coats

Wyatt's modeling the Preppy Plaid one, and I'm wearing their Purple Dinosaur Selection! For front leg amptuees, it's super easy to sew up the extra arm hole.

I have been wanting the Flower Power one for Nova in a Size 30, for months, and it is out of stock everywhere.... even on Tripawds.  Rene, do you think they are phasing out these styles and coming out with new ones?  I want to get a really girly one for Nova, and it would be great if I could have it in time for the pawty.

I believe they have discontinued it, they're constantly coming out with new ones. We'll be announcing the new styles next week, stay tuned (and thanks for thinking of shopping with us!). I do have to say, Pet Supplies Plus is a pretty good store though, we shopped there in Texas when we were on the hunt for a prong collar for Wyatt, if it's the same one I'm thinking of.

Gerry says: Girls and their clothes - sheesh.  My plain ol' beige coat suits me just fine.

(Pre-amp pic, as you can see - we're approaching my first ampuversary!  Well, like two months away.)

But it is better to buy from Tripawds whenever you can wink

Anyways, sounds like Saturday the 13th is the best bet for everyone who has responded so far to be able to come.

And Charlie Boy, if you want to propose a good weekend to come to Madison/Madison area, I'll make my mom organize it, just say the word!  (On a Saturday or Sunday).

I write it in my calendar for Nov 13...and plan on Grand Rapids being the location.

I will also be on the look-out for a good place to have it!  I know Shaggy Pines in a members only club...but I wonder if they host special event parties? ... I'll talk to my neighbor, she's got connections to that place! I'll just tell them the Queen is coming and it's her ampuversary!

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

I'm in West Michigan - Charley is 3 days post amp.  I don't know if we'll be in "pawty" shape yet, but I would love to meet some area tripawds sometime.  Holland has a great dog park that I hope we'll be able to visit again when he's more healed.  smiley

Welcome  Charley's mom,

I hope that Charley is doing well and that his recovery goes smoothly. Is his amp cancer related? Will he be starting chemo? My guess is that either way, he probably won't be ready to run around with the other tripawds by Nov. 13, however we would love it if you could still come.  He'd be about a month post amp by then, and while all dogs recover at a different pace, it's possible that he'd be up for a little meet n' greet.

Even if Charley has to stay home this time, you could still come. I'm sure that you might have questions and seeing the other tripawds in action would be a good thing.

Michelle

P.S. Charley is such a cutie pie

How's it going midwesterners? Do we still think this can happen?  Just checkin' in.  I know it's too early to know what way the weather's going to go, but Gerry and I wanted to make sure no one forgets!

Hey Gerry and Bri,

We are ready to show up at anything that is scheduled.  The last i remembered it was going to be around Grand Rapids, but I think Boo's mom was going to find a location.  Or we could just meet at the park where we had our last Tripawd pawty.  It will be Nova's 2nd ampuversary so I would love to celebrate it with other Tripawds and get some great pictures.  I will be out of town this week from Wed through Monday, but can access email, so just keep me posted on the plans and tell me where to be... we will be there!

Well, the weather I just checked said rain on the 13th and 14th for Grand Rapids, but it's still several days out, so that could change, and if the rain is late enough in the day, it could still work!  My housemate would really like to come along with her dog and I could sure use the co-pilot, but she has to swing getting off work (and would really rather not get someone to trade shifts with her if this is going to get called off).  So what are others thinking?  Can you all still make it?  Are we still thinking Grand Rapids or is there another location to check weather for?  (I'm going to PM those who have responded too, just wanted to post this as well in case any other midwesterners haven't seen this thread yet and might be interested.)

Hi everyone, Rocky and I can make it on Sat the 13th in Grand Rapids, shall we say 1:00? We could meet at the same park as before unless Amanda found a different dog park she thinks would work better.

PM Amanda for directions to the park.

Hoping for sunshine! laugh

Paws crossed!

Anybody ever try to take a ferry to/from Wisconsin to Michigan with a dog?  Preliminary research seems to indicate that dogs are only allowed if left in the car, and the humans do not get to stay in the car with them frown  Oh well, that's kinda what I expected.  6+ hours is long, but worth it.  We'll do our best to be there, but I can't say it's 100% sure for us yet.

Hey Everyone!

Well, the fancy "members only" park doesn't host private parties for an all non-member group. sad  So, sure, we can go to the same park as our first Michigan Party.  (Since a few of you already know where that one is)!  And...since people are coming from many different directions, and a few different states - here is the name of the park and the address...

Cambridge Park

1420 Gladstone SE
Grand Rapids, MI 49506

See everyone Sat Nov 13 at 1pm!

PS:  Just caught the nightly forecast!  Sat should be partly sunny 57...chance of showers in evening!   (If it changes as the day gets closer, I'll post an update)!
