Hoshismom, thanks for joining us here, we sure hope you can make it!How is this for a location & time:
Place: Golden, Tony Grampsas Dog Park The reviews are fantastic and there's lots of shade.
Time: 4:00 pm
Thoughts?
Gus, I'm really sorry that Golden is farther away for you (about 15 minutes past Littleton) but it's the most centrally located for everyone We hope you can make it!
Perfect! 🙂 Lets do it!
Wooo hoooo! We're ON!!! Thanks for helping to decide, I'll get the word out. Wyatt can't WAIT to meet Sasha and neither can we. How is she doing?

Spread the word, the Tripawds are gathering in Golden this Saturday!
Date: Saturday, May 19
Time: 4:00 PM
Place: Tony Grampsas Dog Park
Located at the north end of the ballfields at Tony Grampsas Memorial Sports Complex at 44th and Salvia, the enclosed area is a 2.5 acre site, 300 yards north of the main parking lot. Just follow the sidewalk to it’s end past the ballfields!
A great place for dogs and people alike, the dog park features large trees that offer shade, and shrubby areas for dogs to explore. Carry your own water in if your pet needs refreshment. Be advised that during summer months there are areas where ground water comes to the surface making parts of the area muddy, so bring a towel. And please, remember to keep your pet leashed in the park area until you reach the site.
We'll bring a few jugs of water but it's a good idea to bring your own too. Don't forget!
See you there. If anything comes up and you have questions or need directions, please contact us at 707-845-3129. Thanks!

She's doing ok, surgery is starting to feel more urgent though... We're doing weekly massage with a lady in Loveland and that seems to be helping the rest of her body a lot plus we're working on some strengthening exercises to prep her for becoming a tripawd 🙂 Hopefully, if the job hunt goes as planned, we'll have the surgery scheduled within a month!! Unfortunately her fear reactiveness has increased in the past couple months and I think being in pain is the main factor (Even though massage has helped a ton!). She's already a kind of insecure pup but not feeling 100% is only making her more defensive 🙁 So the sooner we can get her taken care of the better!! I'm not sure she'll be up for any doggie playtime this time around but we're excited to meet you all and Sasha will love to meet some human friends 🙂

Don't worry, Tripawds don't usually get too crazy at the pawties. If it helps to keep her on leash that's fine. I'm grouchy when I'm hurting too!
Who is the massage person you're using? Is it Deanna Rogers?

I still plan to come if D's vet gives him the ok. He's currently there to have his mouth sewn up again. They're also going to try to identify the skin problem and tell me how to fix it. Depending on how today's surgery goes and the next few days of recovery--and what they say about the skin thing--we are a definite "maybe!"

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

Oh that's great to hear Shari, thanks for the update. Poor Dakota! Let us know how the surgery goes.

Well even the rain couldn't keep Angel Gaby and Sashadog's pack mates away today!
Thanks again for braving the elements and coming to the park. We had such a great time getting to know you all, and hope that we get to meet again for our next Colorado pawty, whenever that will take place. Hope you had fun!
Pictures to follow soon 🙂

Wyatt Ray , Didn't you know! That's how girls flirt! Although she did get quite the lecture about how boys are much more receptive if you're nice to them... I'm not sure she got the message though... 🙁 Thank you for the positive thoughts, hopefully we're all clear!
