Hey Tripawds members, if you're anywhere near Burlington, KY, we hope you'll join Tripawd Cadence and her mom Heather to staff a Tripawds informational booth at a great event called "Pawpalooza."

Here's some info about the event:

The Boone County Animal Shelter is preparing to host the second annual Pawapalooza. This family-friendly day-long event includes a K9 5K Run/Walk, concerts, animal adoptions, concessions and vendors, costume and dog agility contests, games and inflatables for the kids and more. Pawapalooza will take place Saturday, September 28, 2013, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Boone County Fairgrounds, 5819 Idlewild Rd., Burlington, KY 41005. Your help is essential to making this event a great success.

Pawapalooza will raise funds for the shelter, which recently made the commitment to eliminate euthanasia of all treatable animals, meaning that resources of time and support, and especially of money, have become even further stretched than ever before. Providing the care necessary to save the lives of homeless pets in Boone County is an expensive endeavor, but one that the organization is committed to, and one that we are reliant upon the community and local businesses to support.

Funds raised from Pawapalooza will be earmarked for the medical care for sick, injured, abused and orphaned animals and to support the volunteer and foster care programs at BCAS. All proceeds go directly toward improving the lives of the animals.
