Teena, been hearing about those terrible fires, it's just awful. We hope that you and all our Tripawds family up there are safe and far from the effects.

Thanks Jerry for checking in, as far as I know everyone in our group are safe and sound...quite far from the situation. I personally lived in Fort McMurray for 11 years and my one daughters and her family still live there, as well as, several friends but all have been safely evacuated  So far, most of them still have their homes, however, one friend has lost her's We are praying that the cooler temperatures this week and the rain that is expected will help the firefighters get everything under control. Thanks again.

Ohh I'm glad to hear you're all good, and hope that your daughter and her family and friends are all safe. Losing a home is tragic, it's so all so sad.
Keep us posted on the pawty this weekend, we'd love to see photos.

Hi everyone,
Sorry for the late post/photos of our first Tripawd Pawrty of 2016. Our first attempt was rainout so we tried again yesterday and we had a PAWESOME time!!! Lots of sunshine, goodies and great conversation was had by all!!! Here are some photo's from our day...enjoy
The Tripawd crew...Roxy, Amarillo, Whisper, Pelusa, and Beau...
Did someone say treats?
Awww Mom, I just wanna go play...
Roxy introducing herself to Pelusa...
Mom gave Beau a little bit of a time out and Amarillo didn't understand why...
Roxy decided she wanted Beau's stick. He was having nothin' to do with that...
We attempted a selfie but it was an epic fail. Selfie stick will be coming along next time...
Group shot minus Whisper's mom as she was the photographer...
Group shot without the silly humans...

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Oh Teena! You organized a GRRRRRREAT tripawd gathering! The fun and happiness...you've captured it all PERFECTLY! 🙂
Isn't it absolutely amazing how well the dogs all get along? Well,...er... Beau had to have a little "time out",'but that's no biggie!
And what a group of handsome dogs and their humans! I lpve the "family photo", but I LOOOOOOVE, LOOOOOVE, LOOOOOVE the group photo of all the dogs! ADORABLE! They all posed PERFECTLY! Whisper was certainly well behaved as his Mom took photos.
Keep more photos coming! They sure are smile makers! AND, it's really nice ro meet our extended family!
Love!

Teena thank you so much for sharing! Do you know how all of these pups lost their leg? Other than Roxy of course! How close do you all live by each other? How far did folks travel? I'm nosy, would love to feature this in the Tripawds News Blog !

Thanks so much everyone. We had such a good time, we are planning another one on July 2nd...as long as the weather co-operates 😉
All the dogs at this event lost their leg from an  injury.  Three of us are from Airdrie and the other two were from Calgary...Airdrie is 20 minutes from Calgary.  The park we have been meeting at is at the south end of Calgary...it takes us Airdrie folks about 30 - 45 minutes to get there.
A feature in the Tripawd News Blog would be PAWESOME!!!
Thanks.Â
