Hi there smiley

I am sooooo pleased that Bubba is doing so well!! It certainly makes us feel a little easier about the situation doesn't it when we can see them thriving. Lots of belly tickles sending to Bubba!

Awww I bet Bubba's fur sister was excited to see him home! It must be hard to manage accidental bumps when there are other fur kiddies in the home in these situations...when I had my other fur kid (lost hime to bone cancer in 2013) it was all the excitement that made them collide. I hope as the pain subsides as the wound heels, they will each adjust nicely to understanding limits of one another again.

Sandy has been a little quiet the last two days, & her appetite has been a little off. We've really needed to entice her up to go outdoors etc but her pain has been better & I believe she's quiet due to the meds & heeling. I have been offering her anything I think she will eat to feel better that she is keeping he strength up & food in her to handle the meds.

Sandy's staples get removed Wednesday...I'm dreading it but apparently it doesn't hurt them so will keep her on meds until then & wean off. Sandy I am sure will be absolutely okay with this however! When have they suggested Bubba's gets removed?

We bought Sandy a few early Christmas gifts - new tops to sport which conceals her wound & is keeping her large shaved area nice and cosy warm as she has the tendency to shiver every so often but gets too hot under the blanket after a while - she looks so cute bless her! Having issues trying to upload the pictures but will keep trying to share.smiley

I haven't got any of my photos online to up/download via the way suggested on the link you so kindly sent me & setting a domain seems a bit too complicated for me.

Sandy I think is having me on - she hops quickly to my car when I ask if she'd like to come with me, but when I want her to go into the garden she looks at me as if to say, yeah right, I'm comfy thanks! whatever...cannot wait until her staples come out to get her out the front door to begin gradual walks to excite her again! We're both missing these!!

Well, sunday roast chicken for Sandy went down a treat! aw-shucks Makes me sooooo happy seeing her eating a good meal as it really worries me when she doesn't!

Also, Sandy keeps yelping whenever she barks...how do we get around this? Its not often as she only barks when she needs to. way-confused

Plus, she wants so desperately to shake but can't properly either due to pain or balance...I have tried rubbing her ears to help elevate the need but I feel so bad as it must so be frustrating...it must be like an itch we can't get to...drives us mad! mad Any suggestions to help this?

Dawn,

Do you have an account on Photobucket or Flick'r or somewhere like that? The photos have to be hosted somewhere for you to embed them in your post. If you'd like, email me one or two and I'd be happy to post them for you here.

As for the barking...I'm not sure why she could be doing that but as for the shaking, do you mean like because she has an itch or is it like when a dog is wet and they want to shake off the water?

I have Facebook photos but that sharing didn't work via the URL link. I think I set a blog up...not sure it was successful. Will email some pics this week for you to kindly post of Sandy's tops big-blink

When a dog shakes their whole body like shaking off water...Sandy stops herself - must be painful right?

The shivering is cold related, hence her tops bought & the heating on full as she is still shaved bless her & very cold here at the mo.
