P I T P O W E R !!!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
This is one time I am glad to come to the conversation late. I'm so glad Trouble is okay.
Debra & Angel Emily

It was indeed a stressful day, but in the end all was well. I got a call from a VERY excited Dr F who told me he had wonderful news. Trouble has dodged the bullet one more time. I have no idea why she is so blessed, but I'm so happy she is.
She is doing a little whining, but overall I think she's fine. She has a pretty small incision and it looks like they glued the edges - no stitches. She can't have more pain meds until morning. She hasn't eaten today, and is asleep now, so I'll try to get her up a little later to see if she will eat.
Duke is very happy to have his buddy home. He's napping next to her as she sleeps.
I'd like to thank you all for your good thoughts, hugs, prayers, crossed paws & fingers, emails, and PM's. This forum has blessed me with a wonderful, caring group of folks to share our journey. Love you guys!

YES!!!
Gerry has been a tripawd since 12/16/2009.
He was a shelter dog with a mysterious past and an irrepairable knee injury.
Videos and pics of Gerry's pawesomeness can be found at: http://gerry.tripawds.com

Some of you may have seen my facebook update, I thought I would share how a wonderful day can turn bittersweet. While we got wonderful news - a friend on the PBT forum whose pittie was diagnosed with lymphoma a couple of days ago had to make the decision to let her go today. It breaks my heart to see so many wonderful pets lose the battle with this dreaded disease.
RIP Ella, you will be missed.
