Ahem, as I understand it a Monkeydog is one that has 4 legs.

A lot of tripawds have other pack  members at home; they have felt their little noses have been pushed out and so have banded together as a form of benign resistance.  They do appear to be a little uncouth in their choice of language, but I might be missing something in translation between US/UK English.

big-blink

Actually, I do think it important to try to maintain some sense of normality when dealing with other pets in the home.  My little  Willow is continually being told off for "almost" tripping Rowan up when she weaves in between his remaining 3 legs ... it was never a problem before ... just over protectiveness banging in I suppose.  I have to make sure she gets one on one play time, even tho Ro isn't up to tearing around the garden as he did.  Yet.  Three weeks post map today and he took himself off up into the orchard for a bit of a lark around with the chickens and the cats ... my heart was in my mouth but I resisted running after him!

The fact that Frankie is windy could mean that everything is on the move ... I noticed the same with Rowan before his toileting started getting back to normal.  And yes, it did take time for Ro to get his head round the hop.  It must be very tiring at first til the muscles on the good side build up. And it took a while for him to work out how to lie down so his body was all on the bed/sofa.  The amputation seems to have upset his in-built sense of space and mass.  But he is actually much more elegant now, and can tuck himself into a 3 seat sofa!  (But he is a VERY big dog!)

You will see improvements on a daily basis.  Hang on in there!wink

oh dear, Frankie... You have arrived when the Monkeybutt Bunny Vampire Pirate starts giving you a hard time.

Just ignore him. We all do. He is just extremely jealous of us beautiful tripawd heroes and all the attention we get.

BTW, I'm glad the Yellow Avenger captured that sock monkey... I didn't like the way he was eyeing you... I was going to mention something once you got off the "juice". But I see that even in your semi-stoned state, you are still The Yellow Avenger.

You are going to need to get a yellow cape. Us Tripawd Warrior Princesses wear pink capes. Actually... we don't just "wear" them - we ROCK them.

Kisses, (you're cute!!)
Abby

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Thank you Abby!  I am working on my costume. So far I look like Robert Redford- he loves his black turtlenecks.

hee heee, you guys crack me up!

Alright, we'll let you in on the Monkey Dog thing here. Are you sure you're ready for it?

As for the yogurt. I'm guessing it probably wouldn't do a thing. I would try a tablespoon of olive oil, mineral oil, fish oil, some crumbled up bran cereal or bran flakes in his food, or canned pumpkin pulp (not pie mix).Others should have suggestions about how to get things moving along too.

I wonder if pet insurance policies cover fart bomb blasts against humans? Hmmmm.

Well. well. well.  Once again I am being attacked………..this time for being helpful.  Where's my "thank yous"?  Attack the sweet monkeydog!  Sweet King of Monkeydogs to be exact.

It's you lucky day, Polly – I don't taunt anyone from the Ukraine.  You're an ex-Russkie.  I wouldn't want to be responsible for starting a cold war……..I have enough on my hands with the Monkeydogs vs. Tripawds war…………….Oh wait.  Mommy just told me that UK isn't the Ukraine, it's England……Well!  Let me be the first to say…………that's dumb.

In that case, PoopooPollie – yeah, I'm 4 legged!   Now give us back Elizabeth McGovern and learn to say "schedule" right!  Oh, and why don't you use a currency that everyone else uses?  Sheesh.  United Kingdom of Dummyheads.  Sheesh.

Hey,  The Yellow "someone must be color blind since you look orange to me" Avenger Skankie Frankie:  Quick thinking on the Agent Sock Monkey.  I'll give you that one.  This time.

I'm gonna be nice to you until you get off the dope.  I wouldn't want you to cry "FOUL" later on!  "Waaaaaa!  Waaaaa!  I couldn't fight back because my head was fuzzy.  Waaaa!  Waaaa!  Mommy, Monkeybutt-bunny Vampire Pirate called me names Waaa! Waaa!"  And for gosh sakes, don't use the "monkey on my back" excuse.  It's been done before.

Robert Redford.  Yes!  You totally look like him!

Bwahahhahhahahhahahhahhahaaaahaaaaaaaa!
