Hi guys.  Tanner is post-amp day 12 and we are happily seeing baby step improvements. He is not his usual active self just yet and he is very picky with what he eats.....  BUT...... For the first time since his surgery he found his favorite toy and brought it to me; I was ecstatic.  He gets his staples out in the morning and I am assuming this will be an added plus for him.  Thank you all so much for all your advice and for letting me know what to expect; you guys have been right on the money.  I know the road ahead will be tough but knowing you will be here helps more than I can say.  Thank you.

I know what a thrill it is to see even the slightest improvment, so I am very, very happy for you!  It'll only get better from here on out.  In a short while Tanner will be back to a normal activity and eating level.  Once Dexter got off of all meds she really made vast improvements.  Now she wants to play all the time and I find that she is wearing ME out!

That's wonderful news Amy!!

I bet you'll see a change after the staples come out too. I know we did.

Hi Amy,

So happy to hear Tanner is up for playing and handing out his favorite toys!  Smile  Tanner will feel EVEN BETTER once those pesky staples are out.   Jake (and brother Poochie Smoochie) send lots of warm hugs to you and Tanner!

Hi Amy,

I am glad to see that Tanner is doing so well. It is relieving to see them start to get back to their old selves. Leo took about a month to be 100% himself. It sounds like Tanner is is a very happy puppy!

Hugs!

Sheri and Leo
