OOOOOOOOMMMMMMMDDDDD!!!!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOO. CUTE!!!!!! CANNOT STOP SMILING!!!!!
One thing you have to remember though, when you post all this cuteness at once, start with a CUTENESS ALERT!!!
If we aren't prepared, all this sweet sugar at once can makes us woozy!
And seeing you two together...the love...the joy.....the fun....just warms my heart! Every single picture shows that.
This was a great way to start off my day! Thank you so much. She is absolutely adorable! Keep these smile making pictures coming!
Love!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
I LOVE her .... she looks great in each and every one of those photos!!! What a pretty and photogenic girl!!!!
So happy to hear Susie has turned a corner and is feeling better.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Thank you so much, Michelle, Sally, Alison & Linda! The funny thing is, Susie is camera-shy. She ducks and runs from the camera. When she's lying on her bed and sees that I'm coming at her with a camera or even an iPhone (she figured out pretty quickly after I got it that it functioned as a camera, too!), she turns her head away or lowers it to the ground. I don't have nearly as many photos of her as I'd like to have!
There are still lots of scabs on her incision, so she still wears her Thundershirt all the time. (Thank Dog it works as effectively as the Cone of Shame to keep her from bothering the incision area.)
From one Westie owner to another....there is NOTHING cuter than a Westie puppy! They have the best personality, think they're the size of an elephant - at least my Kodi does. He also hates to get his picture taken.....looks away at the last moment. And he also has a thunder shirt - hates thunder! Keep those pictures coming!
Paula and Nitro (and Westie Kodi)
Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"

Awww....thanks, Paula! We had a big thunderstorm last night, and Susie (although wearing her Thundershirt) was shivering in my lap!
I just love little terriers (I had a Cairn as a child, then three Yorkies, and now a Westie), because they think for themselves and make their own decisions! Plus, they are very opinionated--and VERY good at communicating those opinions!!!
OOOOOH!!!! Susie is SOOOOOO CUUUUTE!!!! I agree with the cuteness alert though! I can spend FAR too much time adoring these great photos of Susie!! You two are the perfect pair! You just see the love radiating! I am SO happy Susie is doing much better and that you got her the Gabapentin and it is HELPING her! My Barkely had some scabbing on his incision area for a bit but it didn't seem to bother him. Thundershirts are the best!
Linda!!! Thanks so much for the sweet comments. I am so glad that Barkley is doing better now, too. You have helped me so much already, since Barkley and Susie have been on such similar journeys for a while now, and Barkley is three weeks ahead of Susie--while following his story, I could always see light at the end of the tunnel for my Susie, too!
I don't know what I would have done without that Thundershirt, since Susie freaked out while wearing the Cone of Shame--wouldn't eat, wouldn't lie down, wouldn't walk (not one step!), and wouldn't even go to the bathroom. (The veterinary student reported that she was the same way during her hospital stay, too, so she was always taking it off her when she wanted Susie to do something!) I tried a Comfy Cone, and that sent her into a mad panic, too. (I think it made her claustrophobic, because she had no peripheral vision.)
I'm so thankful that she hasn't attempted to lick or chew her incision while wearing the Thundershirt. (The surgeon wanted her to wear it until all the scabbing was gone.) I think wearing it helps to calm her down, too--plus the fabric didn't stick to her stitches, like a little coat might have done. And it keeps her warm in the winter, so her naked skin isn't exposed to cold winds!
Thank you again, Linda, and (((((BIG HUGS)))))xxxx to you and Barkley! Can't wait to see more pics of him! (I can already see how cute he is in your Avatar pic, so you'll definitely need to post a Cuteness Alert, yourself!)
