We just to back from our chemo visit. Snoops had his chest X-rays this morning and good news, they are all clear.!!!! We did not have our chemo today due to lower WBC count, which we knew could happen, so we are on for next Thurs. We are on antibiotics for the next week to help us along, with our WBC. Our appetite is voracious, we are playing with our toys, going for walks and loving life. All Goodclapclapclapclap

Yea for clear chest xrays!!

No big deal on the low WBC counts- happened to Maggie too a couple times (chemo for mast cell cancer), just keep an eye out for infections.

Walks, toys and a voracious apatite? Yes, all is GOOD!

YIPEE FOR CLEAR LUNGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I know that feeling, such a relief!

Totally no big deal on the WBC's, happened to us twice!  Just means the chemo is working :)

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Hearing that chest x-rays are clear is the greatest feeling!!! I remember Athena & Snoop were kind of on the same schedule with chemo (remember she had to delay treatments a few times for low counts, also)... she got #5 this morning. Good WBCs, but that was probably because we just went to every 4 weeks instead of the standard 3 weeks.

04/09/13- OSA Diagnosis ~ 04/23/13- Left Forelimb Amputation ~ Carboplatin Chemo (6 total)

July 2006-November 18, 2013

I will always love you, Athena.

I know how relieved you are! It's so nice to be able to celebrate with you. Perhaps I'll crack open the sardines for Evelyn tonight and tell her it's complements of Snoop.

Keep it up, buddy!

Greeeeeat news!  Whoop whoop!  Those xrays are scary things, but when they come back clean, wow, what a relief!  I'm SO thrilled and enthused and relaxed for you.  Snoop will be right back on the track next week with his chemo.  In the meantime: pawrty time!

~ Katy & Jackson

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12.  Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ!  No side effects.  We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments.  He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors!  Our love. Our funny little guy!
