Oh, sweet, sweet baby! He clearly does like Grandma's house and treats! I love how he listens to you. So cute.
I hope he gets to go for a fun ride on the boat. Love him up. Please give him an extra kiss and an ear rub from his Tripawd Aunt Jackie.
Hang in there. This part is so very hard. Thinking of you and sending good thougths.
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Oh poor Levi!! So sorry to hear this. I know how scary seizures are. Valentina had some before she was ever diagnosed with OS. The year before she was diagnosed she had about 5 seizures spaced a few months apart. I was terrified. The vet said to just keep an eye on the length and frequency and go from there. But hers were about 15-20 seconds long and sometimes it was a few months between them so we did nothing. I still wonder why they happened. My vet said many Dogs have seizures. Some have a few and then never again. And some have the because of certain stimuli. I sure do hope that Levi doesn't have anymore. And if he does hopefully it's that medicine. It really is super hard when you start to see little changes over time that tell you the time is coming. Wish I could somehow save you from it. Praying Levi has no more seizures and strength for you to help him live out the rest of his life. (((Hugs))) to both of you. Very cute video by the way. He is adorable!!
Love, love the video! Thank you so much for posting it 🙂 Levi is cutest of the cute! What a special boy.
Sending love and hugs

OK that is too adorable for words, I'm so glad you shared that with us.
Levi, I hope tonight is peaceful too, so you can rest up and go have fun in the boat. We'll be waiting for more movies OK?

Well there are no more seizures and he seems to be rested up. He doesnt like to get up in the morning and he seems to breathe funny in the morning....but now im wondering if the loud breathing if from the sinus infection...do i dare hope that he will feel much better once this infection clears up? Just not sure what to think right now. One day at a time I guess. Off to the cottage we go.
Levi was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma 7-7-11
Ampuversary 10-14-11
Lung Mets Discovered 1-4-12. Chemo seemed to not be working so we switched to Artemisinin and other supplements. In May, Levi developed a sinus infection and started having seizures. The cancer had moved to his brain. We let him go 6-26-12.
Oh, and I agree Levi is super adorable

Oh so glad he got some rest. I know how exhausting seizures can be, I used to get them as a puppy.
Yeah, moment by moment indeed. My folks remember this part of the journey all too well.
Well, you have fun at the cottage and take lots of pics for us.
