Rye sure doesn't care about any ole"medical report". Rye is just getting on with being Rye!
Jerry, as usual, said everything so well, especially about staying . off Dr Google! Rye is not a statistic. Every dog is sifferent... their individual make up...their environment...their genetics...their nutrition....no dog fits a one size fits all when it comes to any disease.
Do check into mushroom therapy though . Lots of good feedback on thst type of supplement.
Now go give thst sweet Rye a treat and know that all is well in Rye's world👌

Hey guys!
I wanted to hop on here to give an update. Rye is doing really well, I will have to add some pics to the thread, but she really feels like herself these last couple of weeks.
I mentioned the diagnosis for Rye changed from Osteo to Hemangio, and yesterday we got a call from the Oncologist to let us know an earlier appointment was available, so we went today. They did an ultrasound to see if it looked like there could be anything on her spleen but thankfully she looks all good!
we’ve got Turkey Tail coming, but tho we didn’t want to do traditional chemo, we were intrigued by the metronomic option, both with the lesser side effects and the lesser costs.
jerry I think I saw on a blog that you went thru this? I’m curious if it could possibly harm her rehab if we are doing all holistic otherwise in terms of making those natural methods less effective?
Rah rah Rye rocks! Thank you for letting us know, this is terrific news. Rye is living life to the max, just like she does best. I'm so happy for you guys.
No, the hemangio dx isn't great. But thank dog the ultrasound came out clean, that's fantastic news as well.
Yes we and many others have gone through metronomics . When Jerry did he was also on mushroom therapy (K9 Immunity ), and his oncologist was fine with the combo. I'm not sure how it would jive with the other therapies Rye is getting, that would be something to discuss with her vet team. Are there any supplements that you are specifically worried about? Sorry I'm not much help there!

Oh OK, that's not a ton of supplements but I would still ask.
Maximize away! She's really rockin' life!

You are doing such a good job of focusing on keeping Rye happy and ensuring that her quality is top-notch! And that seems to be working just fine!
