So sorry to hear that Bodhi is going through this at such a young age....wow - 7 months - that's tough!  I just wanted to add that when my Mackenzie had her surgery, she lost her appetite for several days and it was difficult to get her to eat anything.  I had to hand feed her to get her to eat...you might want to try that if he seems to be losing his appetite again (it's comforting to them when you hand feed them for some reason.)  It's probably a bit more challenging for you since Bodhi is so young but I found that I had to experiment with lots of different foods.  But hopefully the chicken and rice will keep him happy.

Wishing you and Bodhi all the best in his recovery....I'm sure soon enough you will get your puppy back! Good luck with the removal of the stitches and bandages on Monday too.

Kami (Mackenzie's Mom)

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!
