Hey there! Bury is still in his 1st week of recovery but I am wanting to plan next steps. Right now I am likely opting out of chemotherapy for personal reasons and also because it is on backorder where I live (so I may not end up having a choice).
Pre-surgery Bury was VERY active and I'd like to get back to that lifestyle as much as we safely can. For those who did not move forward with chemotherapy (or did) what other treatment options did you partake in? I'm interested in physiotherapies and holistic treatments.

Hi Pola,
Sorry I missed this earlier! For us, we really focused on improving his diet. He was also on K9 Immunity and we think that helped with his longevity. We didn't know much about physiotherapy at the time but if we were dealing with it now we would definitely make it a priority.
Did you see this at-home physiotherapy course? Dr. Waterhouse covers a lot of territory with nutrition and physio, and there's a course specific to front and rear leg Tripawds. I think you'll find it useful.

We've been taking a holistic approach since May and my dog is doing awesome! Dr. Deva Khalsa is an AWESOME holistic vet you can work with by doing consultations over the phone. The following has worked for us: Ramaekers Vet Immune Powder and Ramaekers Daily Immune Support, Full Spectrum CBD Oil, Starting the Cancer vaccine from Bio Research Laboratories, and his DIET! We have a ways to go but so far this has allowed my bulldog to keep his life the same, expect an amputated leg 🙂
