An update... he is doing ok. He is slowing down and gets tired going out to potty. Sometimes he has to sit and rest half way back to the door but we eventually make it back! He has his ultrasound on December 15 to see if the cancer has spread or if the tumors on his spleen have grown. Think good thoughts that this round of chemo has helped to give him some extra days. He had a good Thanksgiving and got to lick lots of plates!

I've got this great visual of Guinness happy as can be licking all the smears of gravy and turkey on the plates!! Tripawds take being spoiled to a whole 'nother level of enjoyment! 🙂
Fortunately veing tired isn't painful or uncomfortable. It just means lots of rest stops, thats all! Guinness is still being Guinness and enjoying effortlessly flowing from one happy moment to the next.
And you better believe we'll be sending good thoughts! Guinness has his whole Tripawd family cheering for him...and that's a whole lot of positive energy coming his way!! 🙂
And don't forget a little scoop of ice cream to topmoff that turkey plate for Guinness! 🙂

Here he is playing tug o war with my brother's dog, Stan, at Thanksgiving. I call it old man tug o war because he laid there and made Stan do all of the work!

Guinness had his ultrasound today - the masses on his spleen have enlarged and it is in his liver now. So as the vet said, we will go home to chase squirrels, cats, and vermin to his heart's content. I'll keep him on pain meds and we will enjoy our time together, however much that is. Thanks, all, for your support. I'll keep you posted. ❤️
Oh my ... I am so sorry. How is he acting? Is he still spry? You spend the most quality time that you can with him. Spoil the bejeezus out of him and stay positive. Please keep us posted. You are in my thoughts

Of course Guinness didn't hear it so nothing has changed in his world! I do believe Guinness might have a bit of "selective hearing" though. I'm sure he heard the Vet say FO CHASE CATS AND SAUIRRELS!! 🙂 --- - Pretty sure the Vet meant to include giving him ice cream and steak too!
LET NOTHING ROB YOU IF YOUR TIME TOFETHER RIGHT NOW!! Guinness is still Guinness and is still enjoying being spoiled and loved and treated like the King that he is!
The only thing he. Ight not like is having his licture taken so often becw we MUST have more pictures of this boy! 🙂

He acts as usual. Still waits at the foot of the bed for me to lift him on at bedtime. I've made him promise me he can't go without me at home. We have this conversation before bed and before I leave for work. He's done with vet visits - I want him to be at home from here on out where he is comfy and happy. His cousin Stan will be up for Xmas and can play old man tug of war! He gets treats and hugs and can do no wrong, even when he messes on the floor.

It makes us all smile to hear Guinness is still being Guinness! I know it makes every moment that much sweeter because he is happy and greets each moment with joy and a wagging tail! 🙂
Can't wait to see ore pictures kf this MAGNIFICENT HA DSOME BOU!!! He REALLY is a stunning looki g boh! Someone here mentioned that when we take pictures, we should also take photos of just their normal everyday experience. Maybe laying in the sun, or, in Guinnes's czse, standing at the foot of the bed waie for you tonlick him up. And of course lots of xelfiex tigether. And of course, "old man tug o war"!

PS. Denamerin (Sp) is a good liver support you might ask your Vet about, even with "issues".

Love that picture! I am glad he is still being himself. I agree with Sally, pictures! And lots of love, steak, spoiling rotten! I saw that denamarin over in the swap forum just 2 days ago. Somebody had a whole bottle that they did not even open. I don't know if it is still there, maybe hop over and take a looksee. Denamarin <-- there it is!
