Hi all--

Thought i'd stop by and see how everyone was doing and give an update on Kenya.  As you probably remember, she had her front leg amputated about two and half weeks ago.  Last week, while giving her a bath, I noticed a lump near the incision sight of her amputation.  I took her to the vet the next day and she had surgery to remove the mass that day.  She came home the next day.  It was a tough blow, very scary.  Of course, she is happy as can be.  I pray that we have got all of the cancer.  I can't continue to put her through surgery after surgery.  That is certainly no way for my baby to live.  So, I struggle with making these choices.  Stress over the right choice the wrong choice.  But at the end of the day, all that matters is that she and the rest of the pak are cuddled up on the couch with me enjoying the moment.  THanks again for all of your support.

There are no wrong decisions here. Please know that sharing the choices you face is certain to help others down the road. Kenya certainly wouldn't want you to stress. Sounds like you are doing what is best for her, while keeping her quality of life as the top priority. Bless you for that.

I've got my paws crossed that they got all the mass this time.  Healing vibes heading to Kenya, and good thoughts for you.
