Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
Thank you everyone, I am very happy and very relieved. Also wanted to share, poor brudda has not been feeling well. He went to the vet last week and got a vaccine, so I was figuring it was a bad reaction to that. If he wasn't feeling well by today I was going to bring him in. He's basically been hiding in the closet for five days which is HIGHLY unusual for him.
Today, TA DA Jack is back and was hanging out with us all day! I wonder if he had some KITTY INTUITION that Jill had a big appointment coming up and he was nervous?

Also, many of you may know I've been talking about Jill's mysterious burping for months. I've mentioned it to her oncologist multiple times and no one can figure out why. Pepcid doesnt help and she only does it when licking me and purring, so we think it might just be air getting in her belly. This morning, I finally got her little burps on film:
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Jill owns it when it comes to cute "burps"! I kowyou wish you k ew that cause, but darn it's cute! Do you have any creams or oils on yojr arm? Now, I'm asking my next question and I'm being serious, okay? Is she trying to suckle your arm? Because if she is, she would definitely be getting air in ner tummy. Just a thought. It sure is cute though.....and she's very dainty too!
Really am glad Brudda' is feeling better! Vaccines these days can certainly cause side effects Jack! You still make me laugh with every picture of you I see! You "strike a pose" that can be identified a mile away as you!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
You know salt you might be on to something there. Little Jill was bottle fed as a baby because her rude mother abandoned her at two days old and ever since I brought her home she suckles my ear. The burps happen then too. I wonder if that's what she's doing when he's "licking" my arm.....hmmmmm

I think Sally might be right about the licking. Quad pug Obie spends a lot of time licking, it's one of his OCD type behaviors courtesy of his first owner. He licks his paws, rugs, and the air. He belches quite a bit after one of his licking jags, not polite little burps like the dainty Jill.
