Well we just came back from the vet visit and everyone was very please with how well Jake was doing.

Yipee! What a relief.

If you remember the name of the salve, let us know OK?

Keep up the great work Jake, and Mom, hang in there.

No, you're not crazy for worring about his front leg breaking. My Mom worried all the time. When she was so worried that my Dad got mad at her because she wouldn't let me play hard the way I wanted to, Dad said to her "Just let him be a dog!"

And you know what? After that, everytime she got nervous, she just told herself, "I'm going to let him be a dog," and suddenly she felt OK about letting me run amok. Sheesh, she hates it when Dad's right.

If it makes you feel any better, the only time we've ever had a remaining front leg get injured was due to overuse, and it was a sprain only. Nothing serious. So the key is, moderate playtime, don't let him overdo it, but also let him have a good time when he's stronger again. I know, lots to think about, but you can do it!

We used both of these http://www.bell.....nrelief.co.....79-ctg.htm and found them both very successful at keeping him away from it without being too hard for him to handle.  McGwire hates the regular kind, and he actually didn't mind these at all and it didn't trash my furniture or walls.  (The shipping from Bellas was really quick before.)

Hey everyone just FYI: if you order from Bella's. Check out my blog post and demo movie about Bella's here.
