Hi everyone.

Some may remember my boy Bouncer (greyhound), had a nerve root tumour behind his front right shoulder, which resulted in him having his leg amputated.

We are 12 weeks post op and all is fantastic.

Except he is back at the vets tomorrow (7th Nov) as he has another tumour in is stomach (had one just over a year ago, Chondrosarcoma).

So keep everything crossed for him as he is also having his lungs xrayed (as a precaution).

Just as well he's a tough old boy (will be 11 on Christmas day).

xxx

Oh gosh!  I'm sorry about Bouncer!

We'll keep him in our thoughts for a successful outcome tomorrow and clean xrays!

Jackie, Abby's mom

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!

Lots of Tripawd love coming over to Bouncer! We hope it's nothing more than a fatty tumor or something like that. Let us know OK?
