I will get a photo or video of my sweet girl up soon. 🙂 She is doing great now that the meds are right again. We had a couple good walks yesterday and a ride in her new buggy. She loved it!

It is embarrassing how long some 'duh' things take to think of. Yesterday we went to get a sampler platter of every kidney diet canned food there is. We had forgotten there were options as her food has been on auto ship for so long  Today Bella ate a half a can of new food with a full serving of her 'old' kibble mixed in. That is the most dog food she has had in weeks. (Although I think it may be more $ than the organic free-range chicken we were cooking for her.)

And we are feeding her in paper bowls, thanks for that hint. We are lucky that she cooperates with swallowing pills without putting them in food, and she likes the Rimadyl tablets. We try to keep meds totally separate from eating or sleeping associated things or places just to avoid bad connections. That goes back some years when she was getting allergy shots.

So another small victory, day 5 after chemo with a full belly and a dog eager to hit the road. 🙂

Boy that sounds like things are going really well! YAY!

Most of us had tons of those DUH moments during recovery, don't feel like you're the only one. It's just awesome that you found something she will eat. It's such a relief to see them getting an appetite back. I'd say you have quite a few BIG victories here, congrats! smiley_clap
