First of all, welcome and thank you for joining! There is no need to apologize for any language barrrier.

Second, here are some helpful posts and videos for exercise, massage, prosthetics , and building muscle strength:

Finally, what is your dog's name and why do you think he/she needs a prosthetic? Most dogs adapt much easier to life on three legs than they do to having something attached to their limb. If your dog is overweight, he may need the additional support, but you may be surprised at how well he does.

Just watched your videos! Otto looks like a very happy dog.

With so much of his limb left, he may actually do well with a prosthetic. You might consider contacting Orthopets.

Thank you very much everyone for your advice, really. I already had contact by mailOrthopets, I said it was a perfect candidate for a prosthesis. The lifetime let a 3 leggedis the last thing we do, the dog managed well to 3 feet but is a very big dog and overtime we do not have arthritis or spinal problems. thank you very much for your help again. And Otto put more photos here! a greeting and I am delighted to join this forum.hugs for everyone.

Welcome! Otto is a handsome fellow! Daisy works with her balance ball indoors right now- its too snowy and cold outside to do much here in New York. We were fortunate to have a therapy vet nearby with a water treadmill and we were able to use our swimming pool in the summer. (Its frozen solid right now confused) The swimming really did help her build muscle.

Daisy earned her wings on Oct 22, 2011 at 14 years old

She is now the official greeter at the rainbow bridge

What a happy boy ! Even with the "cone of shame "... he is still playing. I think he will do very well.

WOW!  That's amazing!  Welcome!

The lifetime let a 3 leggedis the last thing we do, the dog managed well to 3 feet but is a very big dog and overtime we do not have arthritis or spinal problems

My Comet was born with a front deformed leg from birth.  She just passed away in January at 12 years old from bleeding internally.  It did get hard seeing her hop in old age.  She was fine for so many years until the last year and a half.   The hopping for so many years does take a toll on their bodies.

I very happy for Otto!

Her Retired AvatarComet - 1999 to 2011

She departed us unexpectedly  January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.

She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
