Lylee, that's wonderful and exciting! Congratulations! Now please stop the throat noise so the humans will relax.

We celebrated, too. We got some cheese ravioli and tomato sauce and it was so good I made that weird grunty noise that is incredibly embarrassing, but I couldn't help myself. I sounded almost as bad as Evelyn does when she snuffles. Almost.

Love, Dakota

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

This is wonderful news!

Queen Nova had a similar instance where she was making coughing sounds, but it was some time after we finished 4 rounds of Carboplatin.  I was so sure that the cancer had gone to her lungs, I even prepared myself for the bad news when I finally broke down and took her in for chest xrays.  They were clear!  I was ecstatic.  It turned out that it was just an upper respiratory infection, that was handled with a round of antibiotics.  That was a couple of years ago.  Today, Nova is a little less than TWO MONTHS away from celebrating her THREE YEAR ampuversary, and remains CANCER FREE.  Take THAT you stupid cancer!!!  She is living proof that CANCER'S BUTT CAN BE KICKED!

Sending you wishes for the same long life for your Lylee!  Let's keep kicking cancer's butt together!
