Love that picture   and before the NSAIDS stuff, I'm so sorry Comet and Rocket had a bad experience at the vet...that being said, they probably don't even remember it!!!

Wolf (our first wolfdog) was on Rimadyl for three years, one a day and had absolutely no issues...he lived til almost 16 and then his hips were just too bad to keep going and he was a big boy 135 pounds...

We gave Echo rimadyl on an as needed basis with no problems

On Magic I tried a bunch of them and we seemed to get the black coffee grounds barf.....no matter which one we tried ... even with prilosec/zantac/and the other stomach drugs that my mind totally refuses to recall the names of....and at that point, giving him any of those was just not productive and was hurting him.

I am wondering something....I have meloxicam that I was giving Magic that was generic for Mobic...Pam you say it is generic for Metacam...are Metacam and Mobic the same thing? (I also take it...)

Yes, Mobic is the human brand name for meloxicam and comes in 7.5 mg or 15 mg tablets.
